WE CAN'T BELIEVE IT! We just got home from NYC with our new addition to our display case - a Shorty Award for Periscoper of the Year! We can't thank everyone enough for all of your nonstop support and loyalty. You voted every single day and you helped us prove that small voices can gain a large recognition. Our follower count is microscopic compared to the other nominees that we were up against, but you all proved that loyalty and support goes a greater distance than a large number. This is a win for you all just as much as it is for us. We wanted to give you a little something in return to show our appreciation...
Almost exactly one year ago, we released 'I Never Wanted' - the first original song we ever released. That song is very dear to our hearts. We teamed up with Rob Richards to release this remix, and we are absolutely IN LOVE with it. We love it so much, we even changed the way we perform this song live after our first listen. We'll be playing in Raleigh, NC at Deep South for the Interact Benefit show this Saturday to raise awareness for domestic violence. There will be prizes from the Carolina Hurricanes, Panthers, Mudcats, & more! This will be one of the last completely acoustic sets we plan on doing for a while - we've been secretly working on our live show game, and we can't wait to try it out soon. That being said, this acoustic show will be a special one for us.
